Christmas hope in Wau

Much earlier than was dreamed of, the drilling of a deep borehole in the Cathedral compound of Wau started in November. Providing clean water has been an aspiration of PWP since the February visit to Wau of some key members but raising the money to be able to start was expected to take much more than one year. However, the extraordinary generosity of one member of a church in our Deanery has meant that funds are now in place.

I’ll be delighted to keep you informed of progress.

Update on the total sponsor money raised by the Holes Bay Walk:

final total now is now £5,200.50, the largest amount raised since its beginning in 2015.  Thank you all whose generous input contributed to this amount.Although there is a big emphasis on money in this report, support and encouragement for the Episcopal Church and its promotion of peace in the province of Bahr el Ghazal is a prime factor and also for Archbishop Moses, who is shaping up to be a worthy successor to Archbishop Abraham.
