Lytchett Matravers WI

Centenary Flower Festival

At long last, we are holding our centenaryCampaign Flower Festival’.

This was planned to take place during the year of our centenary, but a pandemic took over all events!

So, it is with much delight that WI members are putting on ‘a show’ to celebrate the 100 years (and more) that the WI has been present in Lytchett Matravers.

The first WI meeting in the UK took place in September 1915, and a century or so later,  life has changed in our world! Much has changed for the better, frequently in no small part due to the quiet, tenacious campaigning and collective efforts of WI members.

Come and join us, find out which campaigns Lytchett Matravers WI have chosen to depict in flower form.

The event is being held in St Mary’s Church (BH166BS)  and runs from ;

Thursday July 14th – Friday July 15th 10.30 -3.30pm

Saturday July 16th 10.30 – 2.00pm

We look forward to welcoming you!
