For our August tea, the U3A History Group are busy preparing an illustrated guide to ‘Shopping in the Past’ in Lytchett Matravers, where it was quite a ‘hive of activity ‘. Come and find out more during the August tea!
This will be our third cream tea this year on Sunday August 14th.
Our cream teas are well known for scrumptious teas and cakes! It’s just £3.50 for a yummy cream tea. All cakes and scones are home made and waitress served in our historic Grade 1 listed church, or outside in the sunshine!
Why not walk down church walk, which is now cleared into a wide walkway, to enjoy your delicious tea? Then view our lovely plants and purchase one to enhance your garden for the summer season.So make a note in your calendar, Sunday August 14th 2.30-5pm at St Mary’s Church.
All monies raised goes towards the upkeep and repair of our lovely historic church.
